This is a great non-scary Halloween movie to watch that will still get you ready for the season. Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock play sisters and witches in a the beautiful fall setting of New England off the coast of Massachusetts.

One of Tim Burton’s lesser acclaimed movies, Sleepy Hallow is another fun Halloween watch if you aren’t looking for something super scary. The casting of Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci is perfect for the retelling of this classic tale.

This is your quintessential fall, I love NY, type of movie. It’s the sweet story of two New Yorkers who meet in the ‘old days’ of chat rooms. Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan are adorable and you’ll enjoy the eye-candy of New York in the fall.

Father of the Bride isn’t an overtly fall film but the family themes and their beautiful home just makes me want to watch it this time of year. It holds up so well and Martin Short is so funny as the wedding planner.
